4th Formby Scouts
4th Formby (Holy Trinity) Scout Group is based in Formby at The Workshop, to the rear Holy Trinity Church, Rosemary Lane – the Church in the Village. We are always open to new members and accept all young people from the age of 6 years to 18 years. We have a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop, with strong links to the Vikingar Explorer Scout Unit for older young people.
In addition to the weekly meeting, sections will take part in camps and other activities, suitable for the age of the members, away from the Workshop.
4th Formby (Holy Trinity) are part of the larger Sefton North Scout District. The District Headquarters are at Waterside Lodge Scout Activity Centre at Southport Marina, so many District events for all Sections are water based on kayaks, sailing boats, bell boats and dragon boats.
We wear a Royal Blue and Primrose Yellow neckerchief, edged with ‘silver’ and ‘gold’ to acknowledge that the Group was formed over 50 years ago.
Beavers – 6 to 8 years
Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.
Cubs – 8 to 10½ years
Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole new world on their path in Scouting.
Scouts – 10½ to 14 years
Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you.
Explorers – 14 to 18 years
Try more. See more. Do more. At Explorers, you’ll stand on your own two feet, and make memories to last a lifetime.
