4th Formby Scouts Minibus Hire

We have a 17-seater minibus available for hire for Scouts, Guides and other non-profit organisations. The minibus has the option to remove 4 seats to become wheelchair accessible.

The minibus can be driven on a standard vehicle (B) licence as long as it is not for hire or reward (the driver(s) is not being paid) as the vehicle is adapted to be wheelchair accessible, but conditions apply. Although a D1 licence is not required, drivers must be aged between 25 and 70, have held a full UK drivers licence for at least 2 years, and not have any convictions within the last 3 years.

Weight

The Minibus has a maximum weight on the road of 3850kgs. When picked up, it will come with a full tank of diesel, plus required and useful equipment and will weigh 2525kgs. This gives you an available load of 1325kgs.
